Julie’s passionate work ethic and professional approach are evident in her career achievements. As Head of Humanities at Marlborough College Malaysia, she spearheaded internal CPD programmes and coached and mentored staff, alongside her roles as head of geography, boarding house tutor, and form tutor. On her return to England, Julie took on the position of Deputy Head and Director of Studies at Polwhele House. Julie excelled in the management of staff whilst maintaining a valued role on the teaching staff.
Drawing on her experience from over 15 years in education, Julie founded The Educational Consultant. As lead consultant, she has worked on a large variety of interesting projects, from authoring and filming a module for Discovery Education to in-house training and client consultation at Envoplan.
Julie excels in idea development, from the initial seed of thought to the logistics of implementation. As a passionate and professional leader, Julie strives to develop herself and others. She is a qualified coach, helping NQTs through to senior management, with The HELP Coaching Method: a model she designed and now delivers through her sister company, The Educational Coach.
